Shimadzu Medical Systems USA releases the RADspeed Pro V series system

Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has introduced a new configuration for the RADspeed Pro General Radiographic system called RADspeed Pro V series. To date, Shimadzu has sold more than 24,000 RADspeed series worldwide, where they have earned a strong reputation. Now, the RADspeed Pro V series has been added on the RADspeed Pro product lineup to provide new clinical value with an innovative digital radiography (DR) system.

The RADspeed Pro V series offers versatile and user-friendly flat panel detectors with 3 different sizes (14x17, 17x17 and 10x12 inches) that improves clinical workflow. The ergonomic design of the flat panel detector makes it easier to carry and prevents accidental drops. In addition, the 40-inch height drop resistance as well as the IP67 Dust and Water resistance provides durability in any clinical environment and promotes lower total cost of ownership. Furthermore, the maximum 880lbs. load capacity supports bariatric patient friendly examinations. The V series detector operates up to 16 hours with full-charge and this long-lasting battery doesn’t require frequent charging during the day.
