First SONIALVISION G4 LX installed in Alberta, Canada

Shimadzu Medical Systems USA, a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation is proud to announce the first installation of the SONIALVISION G4 LX edition (premium multi-functional universal R/F system) in Alberta, Canada. The system was sold and installed at Peace Diagnostic Imaging Clinic by Shimadzu’s dealer partner, Christie Innomed in Quebec. This system has advanced digital image processing technology SCORE PRO Advance and 180cm SID feature.

When using fluoroscopy equipment, special attention must be paid to the radiation dose to patients and healthcare workers. SCORE PRO Advance, a Next Generation Imaging Technology of Shimadzu R/F system, offers the balanced optimization of fluoroscopic image quality and exposure level in various fluoroscopic examinations. As a result of image quality improvements, SCORE PRO Advance can provide equivalent image quality at lower exposure levels. With the 180cm SID feature, the SONIALVISION G4 LX brings additional functionality for performing chest X-ray exposures with the table in the upright position for rooms that do not have space to add a ceiling tube mount and wall stand. Furthermore, the wide space provides comfort for patients during wheelchair examinations such as barium swallow studies.
