Shimadzu Medical Systems USA installs SONIALVISION G4 LX at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital

Shimadzu Medical Systems USA, a subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation is proud to announce the second installation of the SONIALVISION G4 LX edition (premium multi-functional universal R/F system) at Presbyterian Healthcase Services in Albuquerque, NM. The system was sold and installed by Shimadzu’s Direct office in Dallas, TX and has breakthrough technology features of Tomosynthesis and Slot Advance. A third SONIALVISION G4 will be installed at the end of September 2021.

With the SONIALVISION G4, Shimadzu offers the BEST-in-CLASS Multi-functional Universal RF System - one that is useful in a variety of examinations and examination environments, provides high image quality minimizing X-ray dose levels, and is easy to operate. The SONIALVISION G4 achieves comprehensive dose reduction as a total system, equipped with various functions to reduce radiation exposure levels effectively such as removable grid, ideal Grid-controlled Pulsed fluoroscopy, new collimator with Multi Beam Hardening (MBH) filters, Virtual Collimation, and above-mentioned high quality imaging ability itself will also contribute to even further dose reduction possibility while keeping good output image quality.

Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital provides a limited range of inpatient services, including behavioral health and hospice care. Outpatient services include an emergency department, surgical care, sleep studies and a pain management clinic. Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital is also home to the Presbyterian MD Anderson Radiation Treatment Center.
